Our lovely class librarian would like an idea of what research topics you are considering before we meet in the Library on Friday, 9/23. Please make a short comment listing 3 topics that interest you (bullet points are fine).
1) Sports: Should college athletes be paid? OR Drugs and Steroid Use Within Sports 2) Wages - Should there be an increase in minimum wage? and Shouldn't we also have a maximum wage? 3) Civil disobedience - Where can the line be drawn?
1) Wages - If we are all about equal opportunity why are women still earning 75 cents for every $1 a man earns? 2) Health - Are we taking it too far by blaming fast-food restaurants for obesity? When is it individual responsibility and when is it appropriate to place blame? 3) Health - Most developed nations have universal health coverage. Why doesn’t the U.S., the wealthiest nation, have it?
